Happy Fall Y'all!

Life is good, soooo good!!!
Finally we've seen the summer heat wave dissipate here in Texas, and it's starting  to feel like fall outside :)

This past month has been very fun and eventful in the Lewis household!! Nelson kicked off September visiting James in Nashville,TN/Huntsville, AL for a few days. Lorraine and I were happy for Nelson to have some 'fun' time but jealous he got to see the Gamecocks play :)

While Nelson was away playing with James, cousin Leigh and Dean came to play with Lorraine and I!!!

It's so crazy to see Leigh with my daughter...it seems like just yesterday we were little girls ourselves!! I love her so much and I'm so thankful she came to visit our growing family!!

And of course I couldn't let Leigh come visit without taking some pictures...I'll post some when I get them back. I can't wait to visit with Leigh again, next time we'll be making the trip to LA :)

I'm so fortunate that I am able to spend so much time with Lorraine, being a mother and caregiver for my child is the most rewarding 'job' in the whole world!!!!!

strollin' through the neighborhood

we're grooming her :)

we've turned the corner with bath time...she doesn't cry anymore!!!!

pretty girl!

sissy snuggle session :)

Mom and Dad Lewis came to see their first granddaughter too!

We were so excited for them to finally get to meet sweet baby Lorraine :) It took her a little bit of time to warm up to their unfamiliar faces but Grandma and Pops Lewis were persistent and nugget finally gave in.

Luckily, Nelson's work schedule was minimal during their visit too so he was home early almost everyday they were here. And luckily for me, I was able to catch up on some much needed sleep, run errands and enjoy a day getting pampered!! Can't wait to see them and my parents in a month!!!!

I've been taking Lorraine to the library for 'baby time' and she LOVES it!!!! There were so many other moms ( most of which are stay at home moms) and babies, and the teacher does a great job!

Lorraine is a very alert baby, and loves to be stimulated...she's gonna be so smart :)

Autumn, my friend Angela's daughter turned one!! She is so adorable and has breathtaking baby blue eyes...she gets them from her mama :)

Nelson is making the trip up to New York for work in a week and will be gone for two weeks. I am so excited for him and this opportunity, he makes me a proud wife :) Lorraine and I will have lots and lots of mommy/daughter time, and I'm sure I'll be exhausted by the time he comes back!
We're super excited to see some more family in the coming weeks and travel back to Savannah/South Carolina in November :) We are so blessed, thank you God!!!!

Hugs & Kisses,
Nelson, Corri & Lorraine
