Showers and our Anniversary

Well the hospital bag and diaper bag are packed and ready to go! Since we received so many gifts from both showers, we've been busy finishing the nursery and putting everything into place :)

We have been showered with lots of love over this past month! I was unable to come back to to South Carolina for a baby shower, so JoEllen brought the shower to me! She created the most adorable invitations for our friends and family. I am so thankful for her thoughtfulness..Lorraine has amazing grandma's! All the gifts arrived by April 29th, opening day...it was fun coming home to packages at the door for a couple of weeks.
both my baby girls :)

We are so grateful because we were given lots and lots of much needed gifts for the nursery, bathing, and feedings! My intention was to upload a clipped video of us opening the gifts but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get it to work on here. So some pictures will have to suffice :)

Lorraine is one lucky girl to have so many people love someone they've yet to meet :) My friends and co-workers Angela and Jennifer also threw a baby shower for Lorraine. They are awesome and Lorraine and I got some some great gifts!!

I am literally at a lost of words for all the sweet cards, letters and gifts. I've got just a couple more days of work starting before I start my maternity leave, and then the countdown to Lorraine's arrival will be in single the digits! We can't wait to meet our sweet baby Lorriane and share when she's finally here!

This past year has flown by and been one of the best yet, love the little family Nelson and I have created! For our first anniversary we exchanged traditional 'paper' gifts and treated each other to a delicious dinner downtown at Perlas....so yummy, pretty sure we found another favorite spot!

Lots of Love,
